Philatelic Exporter (PE) is the world’s longest-running and most-established philatelic trade publication.
To this day, Philatelic Exporter remains the only independent magazine in the world produced for the international stamp trade. Every issue contains lively and thought-provoking articles by a global set of contributors and provides industry readers with the latest news, events, dealer insights, book reviews and articles vital to the philatelic industry.
- Launched in 1945, Philatelic Exporter quickly became the independent voice, forum and marketplace of the international philatelic trade.
- Until the 1980s, the publication was edited by Arthur Stansfield. It was at this time that long-standing Editor Graham Phillips took over.
- In 2009, the Stanley Gibbons Group purchased PE and moved operations to its publishing house in Hampshire.
- In 2020, the publication underwent a major overhaul in terms of design, announced its first dealer auction and Alison Boyd took over as Editor.
